What is it like working at Gilbane?
Culture is great, but there is a wage gap and lack of education support.

Pros: The culture. At least pre-COVID. There was always events and lunches or volunteer events. Not sure how much will continue after COVID.
Cons: We can clearly do our job from home yet they’re forcing us back into the office. There’s no support for education, unless you’re a male. Same with wages. Plus you’re micromanaged and you get calls late on Friday evening when you’re hourly with a fire you have to put out, but you’re not paid OT.
Building more than buildings.

Pros: Face to face interactions, solving problems, purposeful work.
Cons: Paper work.
