Moody Bible Institute Reviews

What is it like working at Moody Bible Institute?

Head management is incompetent, but overall work experience varies (some very good, some very bad) by department culture and expectations.
Product Analyst in Chicago:
Pros: Flexibility of being able to work from home, flex time, and benefits package.
Cons: Salary is low (HR needs to just be honest that this is a non-profit and you need to adjust your expectations), leadership lacks long-term vision and ownership over shortcomings in communication and incompetence.
Overworked and underappreciated and under resourced.
Information Technology (IT) Director in Chicago:
Pros: My co-workers
Cons: Lack of planning and sticking to the plan when it is made.
A great job, but not adequately compensated.
Purchasing Manager in Chicago:
Pros: Great environment. Training college students in the Bible for world ministry.
Cons: Pay rates are not what they could or should be. With my job responsibilities, experience, and performance, more compensation should be the baseline.
Challenging yet rewarding.
Purchasing Manager in Chicago:
Pros: Able to discuss my faith with Staff, students and faculty.
Cons: Lower compensation.
