Rocky Mountain Eye Center Reviews

What is it like working at Rocky Mountain Eye Center?

Stressful, rushed, messy.
Surgery Scheduler in Pueblo:
Pros: I used to love my job, I felt like I can connect both with my patients and my Dr’s. Although we are performing cataract surgery and not a heart transplant we were still helping patients see better, and seeing is great!
Cons: Now everything is rushed and work has tripled, there is no communication. Errors are being made and everything is falling through the cracks. There is things I should not be handing that I am, issues that I have to resolve that already cut into a long, busy and stressful day. I am only one person yet I am made to feel like I am supposed to pump out these surgeries like a machine. Our systems don’t interact with each other, yet it’s the same system. I am wasting more than 5-10 minutes putting surgeries in 4 different places. That can cut back on valuable time. We are meant to be paperless yet we fill out form after form and that takes up so much time. Yet again I am reprimanded if I do not meet a quota for surgeries daily!
