S&ME, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at S&ME, Inc.?

Water Resource Civil Engineers are all LEED-quality engineers.
Water Resources Engineer in Orlando:
Pros: Cultural Fit was great
Cons: Managers are out of touch
Flexible and Friendly Work Environment.
Civil Engineer in Chattanooga:
Pros: S&ME Culture is a supportive and intellectually-driven environment, which is task-oriented and delivers quality of service in a professional manner. S&ME exhibits a high degree of management planning. Clients are aware and pleased with our service.
Cons: S&ME doesn’t have a many learning opportunities or strong mentorship that can teach employees about the industry that we work in. If there was more of a program that taught employees to be perceived as more desirable to other companies at events and conferences, the company could benefit in the recognition of talented, young engineers advancing in outreach, mentorship, and young development programs. Coming out of college, there is not a mentorship program for young engineers in my unit where mentors can offer advice, provide textbook and real-world examples, or conduct learning sessions. I’d like work to be a continuation of the academia.
