Pros: Taking care of veteran patients and the people I work with at CLC II.
Cons: Upper management incompetence, bias, lawless, ignorance, lazy, PM&R corrupt supervisors part of corrupt swamp inside the VA Hospital. Reported corruption, patient abuse / neglect , Hostile work environments go ignored.
It's a great experience that's under appreciated.

Pros: There's a since independence when you're trusted to be responsible for the safety of others, the agency, and yourself while representing the VA in the public eye.
Cons: I think the pay lags behind the commercial work sector.
