Stubhub, Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at Stubhub, Inc.?
It is simply who we are.
Customer Service Specialist in Price:
Pros: I have worked for a lot of companies who brag their amazing culture acts that supposedly prove it. Every one of them was toxic. StubHub does not need to say a word because it radiates through the entire company. The compensation is well amazing, and Leaders always ask how they can make it even better. Mary Hill genuinely loves and cares about her team and makes each one feel valued in ways that matter to them. StubHub does not look for the cheapest reward or motivators . They listen, and if something isn’t working, they as why and they change it. For the first time in my life I don’t have to minimize myself, my accomplishments, my personality, and no one is telling me to calm down or that I’m too much. They celebrate with me, they cry with me, and if there is a day that I don’t have the mental energy, they carry me or walk with me or just let me know that I matter. StubHub doesn’t see people as robotic money makers that they can shape and mold to do mindless task after mindless task. They recognize when something is not a good fit for an individual, and when they have idea for changes they know our team so well that they know who would love the project and thrive in it before we even know it’s an idea. To quote the company directly “ Stubhub is the place where we are accepted as we are, where we build each other up and where we rise together to exceed the expectations of our customers. It is simply who we are
Cons: Any service job will have days that nothing goes right, or that every single outside interaction you have is terrible. StubHub isn’t the exception, but at StubHub they don’t infantilize the team and say things like “if you’re feeling burnout here’s a tip: change your perspective — focus on gratitude and positivity” at StubHub your emotions are validated and there is always someone there to help you get through it, whether it is by letting you vent, telling bad jokes and dancing around, coming up with a plan of action with you to help identify your needs, or even just laying on the ground in silence with you so you’re not alone when it’s too much. There is always someone willing to help you figure out what your needs are and if they can’t help you meet them, they will be with you and help you find someone who can.
Complex and challenging environment for Compliance Managers.
