University of Massachusetts (UMass) Reviews
What is it like working at University of Massachusetts (UMass)?
The Bureaucracy is Bureaucratic.
Martial Arts Instructor in Worcester:
Pros: I get an opportunity to help students improve their lives and give them someone to turn to in times of need
Cons: The Bureaucracy is Bureaucratic
Good to learn with enough enthusiasm.
Research Laboratory Technician in Worcester:
Pros: Learning experience, developing skills
Cons: Low pay, non-paid overtime, coming in during weekends and holidays, overworked
Patient Services Representative:
This is a great place to work if you are lucky enough to have a fair supervisor, which may not always be the case. Don't be a complainer and do your work and you should be ok for the most part. Yes, there are favorites and bullies as there are everywhere, eventually the pay is good enough to exist on. All in all I am happy to have this job.
