How to advance in this position.
Administrative Assistant:
I would advise anybody new to this field to consider getting a B.A. Degree in a different field to compliment their regular administrative and secretarial skills. It has been hard for me to advance in this role because there is normally 1 administrative assistant in most businesses so they don't tend to give raises as much because your typically not doing more than the basic tasks.

Administrative Assistant:
To be able to multi task and to be able to conform to changes. Also, not to get caught up in drama within the workplace. Staying neutral is good advice for those that do not want to get caught up in that scenario.
