Pros: Not dealing with the public, I rather be behind the scenes.
Cons: I don't have a specific job title. I'm always asked to do several different tasks without the compensation.

All the extra tasks above and beyond and the blame.

Lots of cheat sheets, a really good memory, lots of organization, use Outlook to organize emails for retrieval, file your efiles just as well as your paper files.

Pros: I like working with various people within the organization and helping to get things done.

It's all guts and little (if any) glory.

Help the administrative staff stay organized due to the volume of paperwork when serving the Developmentally Disabled.

Tedious at times, busy and an exercise in multitasking.
Administrative Assistant:
Pros: I love problem solving and using Microsoft Office. I enjoy building templates and creating presentations using Powerpoint. I enjoy managing aspects of large activations (events).
Cons: Sometimes it can be a bit thankless.
