Chief Operating Officer (COO) Reviews
What is it like working as a Chief Operating Officer (COO)?
July 2020
Worth it.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Richards Bay:
Pros: The environment is very different. I'm used to a big city (I'm from Durban, originally) but I think for my career Richards bay has the most opportunities.
Cons: People. Shortage of certain competencies.
June 2020
Decent. I think we are taxed too heavely very soon, 50k seems like a low threshold for a 40% pay cut.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) in London:
Pros: Everything is close, if you fancy theatre is 15min away, if you fancy a michelin star restaurant is 10/15min away, etc..
Cons: Traffic / Pollution / housing costs
May 2020
I love Austin.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Austin:
Pros: The best thing about working in Austin are the activities that go around in the city
Cons: It is expensive and if I lived on my own, it would be hard to afford
April 2020
Working from home LA.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Los Angeles:
Pros: Transportation and ability to supervise multiple golf courses within a short distance.
Cons: The traffic
February 2020
Best of all worlds.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) in London:
Pros: Great, mid-sized Canadian city with most everything you need. And if it isn't here, Toronto is just 2 hours away.
Cons: The food scene is lacking. When your typical options are all chain restaurants, it is lacking diversity.
February 2020
Aspirations fulfilled.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Ann Arbor:
Pros: Great people who are good to work with
Cons: Administrative trivia and government regs
January 2020
Great Community.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Las Vegas:
Pros: The construction industry here in my opinion works well as a community atmosphere
Cons: high percent of people with poor manners
