Data Analyst Reviews
What is it like working as a Data Analyst?
May 2021
Not Equitably Paid and Title does Not Match Responsibilities.
Data Analyst in San Francisco:
Pros: CEO is down to earth, good benefits, and company party.
Cons: Paid Admin Salary while taking on Global Supply Chain Project Management Responsibilities...insane amount of stress falls into one person's shoulders (mine). Unappreciated for huge amount of work I manage, and extra 20 hrs a week I work. Severely under paid.
April 2021
Great city.
Data Analyst in Montgomery:
Pros: It's a large city, but there are many areas that feel very "homey", very nice neighborhoods, lots of food, shopping, etc easily accessible.
Cons: School system as a whole is far below what is needed. In order to have a chance, families must try to get into the Magnet Schools in the area. Otherwise, children are not learning at national grade level.
April 2021
Data processing and loading pricing, multitasking, problem solving and training members on how to use the Catalog.
Data Analyst in St. Louis:
Pros: Being able to help the members get the best purchasing price for their products that they use.
Cons: Being overworked and underpaid
March 2021
Satisfying and challenging.
Data Analyst in Cape Town:
Pros: People, culture and opportunities
Cons: Red tape. Difficult to innovate as the company too large
March 2021
Great culture and people.
Data Analyst in Boston:
Pros: The people and certain projects can be interesting
Cons: The promotion system is unfair. Lots of employee churn.
February 2021
Lots of opportunities and flexible.
Data Analyst in Sydney:
Pros: knowledge gaining and being flexible
Cons: pay is lower compared to other big 4 banks on same employment level
February 2021
Beautiful Life, Less Career Opportunities.
Data Analyst in Banner Elk:
Pros: I am actually in Boone, not Banner Elk. The work-life balance is incredible here, and there are so many things to do living in a beautiful mountain town.
Cons: Being a small vacation destination, there are not a whole lot of professional career opportunities within the city itself.
