Not too shabby.
Food Scientist in Louisville:
Pros: Hospitable, kind, and thoughtful coworkers. Plenty of great food and local businesses. Traffic is very manageable, cost of living is low. Love the bourbon culture. Beautiful scenery. Love getting to experience all 4 seasons.
Cons: Huge stigma around sharing salary info. Many businesses are still run by the typical rich, straight, white man. Some civil unrest due to Breonna Taylor incident. Allergies are terrible in this city.

Pros: Quiet and peaceful, very east to live in El Monte or nearby (Alhambra, Monterey Park, Temple City, Arcadia, etc.)
Cons: There are definitely some bad areas, stay away from there.
