Pros: The work can be stressful, but the environment is very relaxed. I really enjoy working a mission that matters and I'm incredibly thankful for the opportunity to work with this organization.
Cons: The federal government can be notoriously slow. This can be frustrating, but isn't a big deal if you're patient.

Pros: I am 100% confident that I'm inthe position I'm supposed to be in right now. The mission is awesome. Compared to the stereotype of government hiring, DLA was fairly transparent in the hiring process.
Cons: The politics associated with DLA are a bit odd compared to the rest of the Department of Defense because of its structure.
