The good, the bad, and the ugly.
Teacher Aide:
Pros: The job matters, and what you do has a meaningful impact. You have great opportunity not just to teach, but to learn as well. Also, the children are the best. It's never a dull moment. It's a fun job.
Cons: It can be hard to take a needed day off due to the nature of our work. Parents need us. We are not paid what we are worth. Job turnover seems to be very high, in my opinion due to the low pay and low appreciation. It can be stressful work.
