What is it like working at Ampath?

Quite fair and the work load is just too much.

Cons: No growth opportunities for phlebotomists.
It is a nice experience. I get ample training so I am well equipped to perform my duties. There are opportunities for growth and development which I find very good and helpful.

Bad, the company has racial boundaries. If you're black you just have an employee number, hence the companies addresses most things in Afrikaans.

Pros: I love working alone at our stat labs - interaction with the patients, drawing blood, doing accounts, doing lab analyses and interaction with the doctors. This exposure is only possible at our Stat labs not at the main lab.

I like what I do because in a way I'm helping patients but salery is to little.
