Patient Care Technician in NV:
Pros: Always something different and giving life.
Cons: Schedulers are quite combative.
Patient Care Technician in Salem:
Pros: My patients.
Cons: The pay is not good.
Davita.
Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN):
Pros: Love working in a home clinic. Much better than hemodialysis.
Cons: New rn makes close to what I make with 22 years of experience. No 401 k. Nurse to patient ratio.
Pay is bad.
Administrative Assistant:
Pros: Working with the patients.
Cons: Too much work for too little pay.
Biased.
Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN):
Pros: The patients.
Cons: The administration.
The hours are long must be 100% loyal to it.
Certified Dialysis Technician:
Pros: Meeting so many different people from all walks of life.
Cons: The pay.
One of the hardest jobs in nursing.
Registered Nurse (RN):
Pros: Overall good working rapport with fellow teammates, not boring in the least, Have two VERY awesome bosses.
Cons: Very high acuity patients, tremendous hour cut since starting (from 80 hours+ to barely making 70), very poor appreciation from upper management in terms of timely raises to keep up with inflation (just in the region I work, I cannot speak for the other regions).
