Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Reviews
What is it like working as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)?
June 2023
Unequal pay.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Milwaukee:
Pros: The people I work with and my scheduled work time.
Cons: The pay. Starting MA's are making almost as much as I am after working as a MA for more then % years.
December 2022
Three weeks in.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Sioux Falls:
Pros: soo far staff and residents and have been pleasant. Being a med aid and CNA are both rewarding jobs in their own way. as well as changing. But I have received encouragement and assistance when I have needed from both staff and residents.
Cons: the one thing I can say i do not like at this point is there is no sanitizer pumps on the walls out side the rooms. I walk around feeling dirty having to dig into my pocket to get my little sanitizer bottle to sanitize . your supposed to gel in and gel out and in between gloving. makes it impossible when your constantly digging in your pocket and running out
September 2022
No training.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Gardner:
Pros: The hours
Cons: The training, was given laptop and few things on how to do things, but sit by myself and have nobody to answer questions about the EMR system. Hear about it when make a mistake, that’s how I’m learning.
July 2022
Pay rate question.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Brookville:
Pros: The wonderful coworkers who care for one another.
Cons: The lack of consequences to those staff members who are not doing their job appropriately.
July 2022
My heart for God’s people keep me going and I strive to do all I can to help them in their healing process I’m dedicated to my employers and my patients.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Albany:
Pros: That I’m constantly learning and growing everyday and just to be able to love and encourage my patients through their healing process. And some of them have even sowed the same in me.
Cons: That I’m not appreciated for the job that I do each day. I’m good enough to train other new employees and even do jobs that are primarily others responsibility but I do them because I care and because I’m a real team player.
